After the successful work of designing a concept for the Muttermilch bar, we were once again asked to come up with ideas for a night club. The interior as well as the identity were designed to keep the studio authentic. To promote the opening night we designed a number of cardboard speakers that were spread around the city a week before the opening. Speakers were spotted on trees or others were hanging down from traffic lights. Invitations designed as record tapes were handed out with date and location of the opening night. The Tonstudio was designed with attention to detail, e.g. a piano was converted into DJ table and screen printed vinyl records became the menu.
